A man has died after being struck by a car in Warrenpoint earlier this morning.
The 38-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a Renault Clio on Newry Road at around 5am.
Police are appealing for information to the tragedy to contact them.
Witnesses or anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 445 21/12/19.
The road had been closed for a time but has since reopened.
There are no further details at this stage.
