A Newry man who walked into a bar and threatened to kill his ex-partner before sending her messages saying he was going to hunt her down has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
David Patrick McVeigh (47), of Boat Street, appeared before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday charged with a “litany” of offences against his ex-partner and her sister.
