A man wanted for drugs offences in Poland has been arrested in Newry.
This morning (Monday) officers from the PSNI’s International Policing Unit, working with officers from the Local Policing Team in Newry, arrested a man wanted by Polish authorities for serious drugs offences committed in Poland.
The 43 year old man was arrested in the Newry area by virtue of an extradition warrant and will be brought before an Extradition Court in due course.
