A man will appear in court following an attempted burglary at Buttercrane shopping centre in Newry on Sunday (May 14).
The 22-year-old will appear before magistrates in the city this morning (Monday).
He has been charged with a number of offences including attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and assault on police.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
