A man accused of shining a laser at a police helicopter in Newry is to appear in court later this month.
The 28-year-old has been charged with endangering the safety of an aircraft.
He is scheduled to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on March 31 2021.
As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Police say the arrest and subsequent charge follows an incident in Newry on March 1.
