Police are appealing for information following a weekend burglary in Newry, during which jewellery and a sum of cash were stolen.
It happened at a residential property in the Woodlands area sometime between 1pm on Saturday (November 18) and 5pm on Sunday (November 19).
It was reported that entry was gained into the house and a quantity of jewellery and a sum of cash were taken.
A number of rooms inside the property were also ransacked during the incident.
Detective Sergeant Lewis said: “As our enquiries continue, we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around this time, to contact detectives on 101, and quote reference number 1156 19/11/23.

The incident comes days after another burglary in the Cecil Street area, when a number of rooms were ransacked and a pair of trainers were stolen from a property.
