Fundraising quiz and auction night to boost work of three very worthwhile local charities

Bunzl Rafferty's event will benefit the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, PIPS Newry and Mourne and Daisy Lodge Cancer Fund for Children

Charity Quiz

The sterling work of three good causes locally will receive a boost from the proceeds of a charity night later this month.

It will be one of the key fundraising events this year for Bunzl Rafferty and will benefit the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, Daisy Lodge Cancer Fund for Children and PIPS Newry and Mourne.

The fundraising evening – taking the form of a Charity Quiz Night on Friday, February 28 – will take place at Flagstaff Lodge in Newry (formerly Newry Golf Club).

On the night there will be a quiz with a cash prize for the winners.

There will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes such as overnight hotel stays, spa vouchers, restaurant vouchers and health, hair and beauty vouchers.

One of the big attractions on the evening will be an auction with some great lots to bid on.

Among the highly collectable items going under the hammer will be a framed Ireland rugby jersey signed by ex-Ireland Captain Rory Best and a tailor-made golf bag signed by former Open Champion Darren Clarke.

There will also be a raffle, as well as nibbles and music too!

Doors open at 7pm and the quiz will get underway at 8pm.

The entry fee is only £5 and half of the ticket allocation is already gone.

So get in quick and snap up your ticket for a great night’s craic for three great charities.

People can be assured of their place by dropping a wee message to the Bunzl Rafferty Charity Quiz page on Facebook to buy tickets but be warned – once they are gone they are gone!
