There has been a two-vehicle traffic collision on the main Armagh to Newry Road this morning (Wednesday).
Emergency services are currently on the scene dealing with the incident on the outskirts of Newry City.
The incident happened a short time ago, around 9.30am, close to the Kidds Road junction of the A28.
One eyewitness told Armagh I that police arrived moments after the crash.
Traffic is building up in the area so this stretch of road is best avoided this morning while this incident is dealt with, if possible.
It remains unclear how serious the incident is at present and whether the road will be closed at this stage.
