BMW M2 stolen from outside Newry home in latest keyless car theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information and witnesses following the theft of a vehicle this morning (Tuesday) from the Elmgrove area of the city.

Police received a report at around 3.15am that a grey BMW M2, registration number SGZ 3733, had been stolen from outside the victim’s home.

Inspector Macdonald said: “We are treating this incident as a keyless car theft. I want to appeal to anyone who has information about this incident to call us.

“I’d appeal to anyone who knows the whereabouts of the vehicles, or anyone who has been offered a similar car for sale in suspicious circumstances, to get in touch with us.”
