The Armagh Road in Newry has been closed following a “serious crash” this morning (Wednesday).
Cordons are in place on between Plunkett Street and Drumliss Court.
Police are advising motorists to seek an alternative route.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Motorists are advised to avoid Mountain View Drive in Newry which is closed following a two vehicle road traffic collision this morning.
“Cordons are in place at the junctions with Armagh Road, Plunkett Street and Drumliss Court.
“Please seek alternative routes.”
It is understood the crash took place around 6.40am.
