Appeal for witnesses following two-vehicle crash on Sunday night

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Old Dublin Road in the Newry area.

It was reported that just after 9.00pm on Sunday, December 11, a blue BMW 320 collided with a black Saab on the Old Dublin Road, Newry.

Inspector Russell Vogan said : “We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnessed the incident to contact Ardmore Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1198 on 11/12/16.

“Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
