Appeal as thief walks off from B&Q with £1,500 trolley load of goods

A man walked off from B&Q with £1,500 worth of goods in a trolley without paying yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “At 5.40pm [yesterday] a male made off with trolley load of goods from the B&Q store at Damolly Retail Park of Newry without paying for them.

“This thief is described as being in his late 20s to 30s wearing a grey cap with a white star on it.

“He stole £1,500 worth of goods including tools and power washers some with a ‘Makita’ brand.

“We’re you in the area and notice this male?

“Has anyone offered to sell you new tools in suspicious circumstances?

“If you can assist Police with this ongoing investigation please get in touch by dialling 101 giving reference number 930 04/03/18.”
