
Middletown GAA club have launched a new junior tournament in memory of a much-loved little boy from within their local community.
This Sunday (September 28), the club will host the inaugural Conrad McBride Cup game in tribute to nine-year-old Conrad McBride who passed away suddenly in April 2024.
Described as a “special little angel”, Conrad – who was born with Down Syndrome and other medical conditions – lived “a very happy nine years and was very much loved and cherished”.
In honour of the “cherished little boy”, Middletown GAA elected to host an U14 boys football tournament, promising “a great day of football in Conrad’s special memory”.
The tournament will begin at Middletown GAA grounds on Sunday at 10am.
