Residents in Markethill are being urged to be vigilant of men selling knives in the town.
Police have told people to be on lookout for three males in a silver van with blacked out windows doing the rounds in the area.
They are understood to be going door-to-door selling knives.
The warning comes as police continue to crack down on crime in the area, following a number of high-profile incidents in recent weeks.
Just a few weeks ago would-be thieves were thwarted by a family dog in Mullaghbrack.
However, others weren’t so lucky a few weeks prior to that, with a number of homes burgled in the town.
If you spot this van or anything suspicious please contact 101 and quote serial number 435.
