Police investigating after 20 cattle stolen in Markethill

A Markethill farmer is the latest victim of livestock thieves following an incident sometime in the last 24 hours.

Police in Armagh are investigating the theft of the cattle in the Mowhan area overnight.

A padlock was taken from the shed door and the animals removed sometime between 4pm on Wednesday and 8.30am on Thursday, December 13.

It is believed that a lorry was used to move the Charolais cows.
