One person has been taken to hospital following a two car collision near Markethill.
The accident occurred near the crossroads of Mowhan Road and Glenanne Road today (Thursday) shortly after 1pm.
It is understood police, fire and ambulance personnel attended the scene.
Police confirmed one person was taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.
NI Fire and Rescue confirmed that two casualties were self-rescued from their vehicle prior to the arrival of firefighters.
Firefighters rescued two casualties from their vehicle using specialist rescue equipment and manual handling.
One casualty was transferred to the care of NIAS. The scene was handed over to the PSNI and Firefighters left the incident at 1.49pm.
