She is facing an uphill struggle and a long road to recovery, but a Markethill family are delighted to have their pet pug Daisy home!
The adorable Daisy went missing from the family home at Markethill on Saturday.
Owner Sinead appealed to Armagh I to help the family in their quest to have her home.
Describing her as a much-loved family pet, she said they would be lost without her, having had Daisy for three years.
Now she has been found, but sustained serious injuries after being knocked down.
Sinead is keen to thank all Armagh I followers who shared the appeal and sent good wishes.
And she also wants to thank the veterinary professionals who tended her injuries.
Daisy came home last night from Armadale veterinary practise and Sinead said the family were “delighted”.
She told Armagh I : “She was knocked down on Tuesday and taken to the vets.
“She will have a long road to recovery; the poor wee pet ended up with a broken pelvis, punctured stomach and broken ribs.
“She was in bad shape, but she’s in good hands now. I would like to thank everyone who helped and a special thanks to Armadale vet for their tremendous work with Daisy.
“We appreciate everything that has been done.”
