Markethill pensioner left distraught as family suspect theft of much-loved pet from garden

'She has herself in a state as Sue was company for her'

A Markethill pensioner has been left distraught after her beloved pet dog went missing from her home.

The family suspect that she may have been taken as it is totally out of character.

Sue is a one-year-old Shih Tzu.

Owner Anita Pickering, who is in her 70s, had let her out to go to the toilet at around 4pm today and when she came back about 20 minutes later she was gone.

Granddaughter Jolene Glennon has appealed to Armagh I followers to help get Sue home where she belongs.

She said: “This is very out of character for Sue. I have her sister and they are both very attached to their owners and would fret if they were not around.

She wasn’t able to wander out. The gate was closed, but she’s very friendly. I suspect someone has lifted her from the garden.

“If anyone has her I assume she will be crying.

“She is very distinctive in her markings – she’s tan all over with grey/black tipped ears. Sue is microchipped but I don’t think she had her collar on.

“My granny is elderly and has been out looking for her. She has herself in a state as Sue was company for her.

“I do hope she is found.”

If anyone knows where Sue is or can help in any way please contact Jolene by phoning or texting 074 3761 1261.

Please SHARE and help get Sue home safely to her family where she belongs.
