There has been a serious road traffic collision on Gosford Road outside Markethill.
The NI Air Ambulance is on the scene of the accident, which happened at around 3.30pm, close to Simms Garage in Loughgilly.
Fire and police crews are attending and the road has been closed to traffic in both directions.
There are huge tailbacks in the area and motorists are advised to avoid the area this afternoon – diversions will be in place.
It is the second serious crash on this stretch of road in a matter of days.
Four women were taken to hospital as a result of a collision close to the Bolton Filling Station on Saturday.
The road was also closed for a similar incident at the end of July.
