Police in Armagh are appealing for information after a man sustained serious injuries.
Constable Barry McNeill, Armagh Response, said: “A 35 year old man was found with serious facial injuries at the bottom of Scotch Street during the early hours of Friday, 24 October.
“We believe this man may have been the victim of an assault and are keen to trace his movements between 11.15pm on Thursday, 23 October and 3.12am on 24 October.
“We are also investigating a report of the theft of a mobile phone in Irish Street before 11pm on Thursday, 23 October. We believe these incidents may be linked.
“I would ask anyone who has information in relation to these incidents to contact us in Armagh on the 101 number, quoting ref: 127241014.”
