A 32-year-old man will appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court in the morning (Tuesday) charged with the murder of boxer Eamonn Magee Jnr.
The 22-year-old died after being stabbed in the Summerhill Park area of Twinbrook, in West Belfast, at around 2.30am on Saturday.
Police have tonight confirmed that a man, arrested a short time afterwards, has been charged.
Mr Magee was stabbed a number of times in the garden of a house he was visiting and later died as a result of his injuries.
The accused will appear before Magistrates in Craigavon tomorrow.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
