Man charged over south Armagh hijackings and burglaries

Detectives from E District’s Tactical Crime Unit have charged a 31 year old male with offences relating to a number of crimes on 20 December,  2013.
Following an intense investigation, with support from colleagues in An Garda Siochana, the man has been charged with attempted burglary, three counts of burglary, criminal damage and two counts of hijacking.
The offences relate to a number of incidents in the South Armagh area.
He will appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on 9 July, 2014.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by  the PPS.
