Man assaulted and left injured by two men and woman in county Armagh

A man was assaulted and left injured by two men and a woman in Craigavon on Saturday.

Constable Arlene Wells explained: “We received a report that a 28-year-old man was assaulted by two males and a female in and around Ardowen Playing Fields around 6pm on Saturday, 14 March.

“The male victim was in the company of another female. He sustained head injuries which required medical treatment.

“A 22-year-old man, 23-year-old man and 22-year-old female were arrested on suspicion of GBH. They were later released on bail pending further enquiries.

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or has information in relation to it. We can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 899 140315.”

Meanwhile, police in Lurgan are appealing for information following a burglary in Lurgan.

Sergeant Duncan McBain explained: “Sometime between 5pm on Saturday, 14 March and Monday afternoon, 16 March, entry was forced to a house on Clare Road, Gilford. The house was ransacked and jewellery was stolen.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 721 160315.”
