A major fire has broken out at a recycling plant in the Carnbane Industrial Estate in Newry.
Up to a dozen fire appliances are believed to be tackling the blaze.
Newry and Armagh MP Mickey Brady said the immediate priority was making sure everybody was safe.
“Right now the priority for the Fire Service is making sure that everyone is out of the building and that everyone is safe,” he said.
“I want to commend the work of our fearless fire fighters who arrived at the scene so promptly and as usual, set about the task of protecting the people of Newry.”
