The M1 has been closed in both directions following a serious road traffic collision this morning (Sunday).
Emergency services are currently on the scene of the crash and traffic is being diverted off the motorway.
The incident was reported just before 7am, Sunday July 18.
Police have said Belfast-bound traffic is being diverted at junction 6 (Saintfield Road) and Lisburn bound traffic at junction 3 (Blacks Road).
A PSNI spokesperson said: “The M1 is likely to be closed for some time and motorists are advised to take an alternative route.”
