
Tributes have been paid to a young father-of-two from Lurgan who died suddenly over the weekend.
Darren Marshall passed away on Sunday morning.
A funeral notice describes the the former St Paul’s Junior High pupil as the dearly beloved son of Elaine and Gary, much loved brother of Amy and James, and loving daddy to Fianna and Jayden.
Tributes have been pouring in since his untimely passing.
One woman described him as “one of a kind” and “a fella with the best of hearts”.
Another said: “Totally lost for words. You’re going to be so sorely missed Marshall….You were more than a friend — you were family. Always around, like part of the furniture in the best way. We’re so grateful for all the laughs, and the years of friendship. We’ll hold on to them forever.”
Darren’s remains will be reposing at 2 Broomhill in Magheralin from 6pm today (Monday) until 9pm, and Tuesday from 12pm until 9pm where family and friends will be welcome to pay their respects.
Funeral on Wednesday at 11.15am to St Paul’s Church Lurgan for 12pm Requiem Mass.
Interment afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery Lurgan. Darren’s Requiem Mass can be viewed on St Paul’s Church webcam.
