Temporary traffic management measures will be put in place at Millennium Way, Lurgan as work continues to connect the new Millennium Way Extension to the Flush Place/Gilford Road/Banbridge Road and the Millennium Way/Malcolm Road junctions.
A number of temporary road closures and localised lane closures are required to carry out the works safely.
From 27 February 2017 to 13 March 2017, Flush Place will be temporarily closed to traffic. Two-way traffic will operate on Malcolm Road and Millennium Way from 27 February 2017 to facilitate traffic to and from Lurgan town centre. The Millennium Way/Malcolm Road junction will continue to operate under traffic signal control with Russell Drive remaining temporarily closed to traffic.
All businesses within the vicinity of the works remain open for business.
TransportNI has carefully programmed the works operations and traffic management arrangements in order to minimise any inconvenience to the public, however, motorists should be aware that some delays may be expected and that additional time should be allowed when planning any journeys.
Works on the project are expected to complete in April 2017. TransportNI will continue to work with the construction contractor to complete the works as soon as possible and will endeavour to minimise delays during the remainder of the works.
