‘Significant’ find as £75,000 of drugs seized during police raid on three properties in Lurgan

'These drugs were destined for the streets of Lurgan where your families and children would be the target'

Police have seized various drugs worth around £75,000 during a series of house searches in Lurgan.

Officers swooped at three properties today (Thursday) and hailed it as a “very busy and very successful day’s work”.

A PSNI spokesperson said the operation at three linked properties netted a substantial amount of illegal drugs.

“A stop was also put to the preparation of a cannabis factory,” said the spokesperson.

“Drugs seized included cocaine and spice within the vicinity of local primary and secondary schools.

“Significant risk and harm has been removed from the community.

“These drugs were destined for the streets of Lurgan where your families and children would be the target.”
