Further road closures will be required at times throughout August and September as part of ongoing resurfacing at Avenue Road in Lurgan.
The works, which extend for a distance of approximately 700 metres, began at the start of July.
The Department for Infrastructure says the scheme will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the road.
Daytime lane closures will be in place between Park Avenue and Dromore Road Monday to Saturdays, from August 21 until September 16, from 9.30am until 4.30pm.
The road will be open in the evening and overnight except from 6.30pm until 6am, from Monday, August 21, until Monday, August 28, when, to allow for the safe completion of the resurfacing, it will be necessary to close the road from its junction with Park Avenue to its junction with Dromore Road.
There will be a further road closure from 6am until 6pm on Sunday, September 3, 10 and 17.
A DfI spokesperson said: “The Department has programmed the work operations and traffic management arrangements to minimise inconvenience, however, road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the vicinity of the works and are asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions.
“Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained, however some minor delays may be experienced.
“The Department will continue to keep the public informed and diversionary routes will be clearly signed.
“Subject to favourable weather conditions all work will be completed by 17 September 2023, however, the Department will keep the public informed of any change.”
