A security alert in the Shankill Street area of Lurgan has ended.
Police received a report at around 4.35 am that a suspicious object had been left in the area.
Chief Inspector Tim Flanigan said: “Officers attended the scene along with Ammunition Technical Officers (ATO) who examined the object and declared it nothing untoward.
“Residents have been advised they can also return home after they were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
“We appreciate that people experienced disruption as this public safety operation was carried out, and we thank residents for their understanding and patience during this time.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 303-25/01/26.”
