Police working to establish motive after Lurgan house target for petrol bomb

A brick had also been thrown through the window of the house

A petrol bomb was left at a house in Lurgan late last night (Tuesday).

The device failed to ignite but police have appealed for information and witnesses after the incident.

A brick had also been thrown through the window of the house in the Willows area and the windscreen of a vehicle parked outside was also damaged.

Police received a report of the incidents shortly before 10.50pm.

Inspector Rocks said: “Thankfully, no one was injured.

“We are working to establish a motive for this attack and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and has information which may assist our investigation to call us non 1010, and quote reference number 2098 of 28/07/20.”
