Two women have appeared in court in connection with the murder of Lurgan man Odhrán Kelly at the weekend.
Stephanie McClelland, 36, of Shan Slieve and 43-year-old Andrea Catherine Stevenson, of Edward Street – both Lurgan – appeared before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court.
They are charged with assisting an offender with “the disposal of the body of Odhrán Kelly”.
Bail was not requested for either defendant and as a result both were remanded in custody.
The court heard they will apply for bail later this month. They are due back in Craigavon courthouse on December 15.
The murder investigation was launched following the discovery of Odhrán’s body beside a burning car in the Maple Court area in the early hours of Sunday morning, December 3.
