A 56-year-old Lurgan man accused of attempting to make a ‘sexual communication’ with a child has been further remanded in custody.
Paul McConville, of Avondale Green, is alleged to have committed an offence on April 22 this year.
The charge follows a so-called ‘paedophile hunter sting’ in Craigavon, a video of which is on social media.
At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday a prosecutor said the defendant had not provided passcodes to a number of devices however one had been accessed and it contained indecent images and new charges are being considered.
The prosecutor told District Judge Michael Ranaghan that once the images are categorised “there will be additional charges,”
The case was adjourned to October 17.
