Natalie McNally murder: Stephen McCullagh pleads not guilty with trial date set

Stephen McCullagh - the man accused of the murder of Lurgan mum-to-be Natalie McNally

A trial date of September has been set for the man accused of murdering mother-to-be Natalie McNally in Lurgan just over a year ago.

Stephen McCullagh pleaded not guilty to murdering his then-partner at her Silverwood Green home on December 18, 2022.

Mc McNally, 32, was 15 weeks pregnant when she was stabbed to death.

McCullagh, 33, from Woodland Gardens, Lisburn, appeared before Belfast Crown Court briefly earlier today.

The trial is expected to begin on Monday, September 9 and is expected to last between three to four weeks.

It is being held in Belfast due to the evidence being heavily CCTV and technology based.

A review of the case will be heard in March.

McCullagh was remanded back into custody.
