Natalie McNally murder: Man arrested by police freed on bail for further enquiries

The man had been detained in south Belfast on Friday

A 46-year-old man arrested by detectives in south Belfast in connection with the murder of Natalie McNally has been released on bail.

He was the third man arrested in connection to the Lurgan woman’s brutal killing in her Silverwood Green home on December 18.

A police spokesperson said the man arrested on Friday morning has “released on police bail to allow for further enquiries”.

The arrest followed the seizure of a car in the Lisburn area last Saturday, January 7.

To date, three people have been arrested, the first of whom has been released unconditionally; the second is currently on police bail “pending further enquiries”.
