Stephen McCullagh - the man accused of the murder of Lurgan mum-to-be Natalie McNally

The man accused of murdering 32-year-old Natalie McNally in her Lurgan home is set to enter his plea next month.

Stephen McCullagh, also 32, is accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend in Silverwood Green on a date unknown between December 17-18 last year.

McCullagh, who has been in custody ever since he was charged with murder earlier this year, appeared before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court, via videolink from Maghaberry, earlier today (Friday).

The alleged killer, with an address of Woodland Gardens in Lisburn, spoke briefly to confirm his name and that he had received legal papers in the case.

He was remanded back into custody and will appear at Craigavon Crown Court where he will formally, for the first time, enter his plea – guilty, or not guilty.
