‘Nasty’ attack on home and car cost thousands of pounds in damage

Vandals caused thousands of pounds worth in damage after spray painting a car and house.

Police are appealing for witnesses or any information following the vicious attack on the Clare Road in Waringstown.

The culprit/s struck under the cover of darkness some time between Thursday, October 5 and Friday October 6.

PSNI Craigavon spokesperson said: “We need your help with a particularly nasty case of criminal damage that occurred overnight between Thursday 5th into Friday 6th October.

“A car and a house on the Clare Road, Waringstown, were extensively damaged by spray paint, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

“If you saw anyone in the area at the time, or have heard anyone talking about it since who you think may be involved, please contact 101. The reference number is 196 of 06/10/17.

“Alternatively you can speak completely anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
