A man who died in a single-vehicle collision in Co Armagh in the early hours of this morning has been named.
He was 34-year-old Michael Ginesi from the Lurgan area.
He passed away at the scene after the vehicle he was travelling in collided with a tree on the Annesborough Road in Lurgan around 2.30am.
Constable O’Hara from PSNI Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference number 218 26/05/18.
The Annesborough Road has since re-opened.
Mr Ginesi’s brother Ralph, posting on Facebook, said: “Totally gutted my young brother Michael was tragically killed in a car accident last night, rest in peace bro.”
Sinn Fein MLA John O’Down sent his condolences to the family.
He said: “On behalf of Sinn Féin locally I want to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victim who we will keep in our thoughts and prayers.”
