Man sustains fractured cheek bone in assault by group of males

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information following an assault outside Lurgan Park.

Around 9pm on Friday, 30 October, close to the junction of Windsor Avenue and Castle Lane, a 21 year old man was assaulted by a number of males, possibly aged in their 20s.

The victim sustained a fractured cheek bone and bruising to his face and head.

Constable Chris Boyle said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this assault or has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 1144 311015.”
