Man ‘drinking throughout day’ damaged wardrobe when asked to turn music down

He also took a family member's bank card without permission to buy alcohol

Craigavon-Courthouse

A man caused criminal damage to a wardrobe when asked to turn his music down.

Nathan Power (27), of Springwell Gardens in Lurgan, had also taken a family member’s bank card without permission to buy alcohol.

He had been “drinking throughout the day” on April 29 last year and when asked to turn music down he had “punched and kicked a wardrobe”, Craigavon Magistrates’ Court was told.

The defendant has “learned his lesson”, a defence barrister said.

Power was given a three months prison term, suspended for a year.
