A man has been arrested in county Armagh after a vehicle was stolen at the weekend.
Police arrested the 43-year-old man after a Nissan Micra was taken from Donard Gardens in Lurgan.
A police spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a stolen red Nissan Micra at 10.48pm on Saturday, November 21.
“A description of the car was circulated and the police helicopter helped locate the car which was stopped by police on Old Portadown Road.
“A 43-year-old man was arrested for taking a motor vehicle without authority, no insurance and driving with excess alcohol.
“He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.”
