A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Kevin Conway earlier this month.

Kevin Conway, who was from Lurgan, was gunned down at his bail address in the Greenan area of west Belfast on January 9.

The 26-year-old died instantly.

Detectives investigating his murder arrested a 37-year-old man on Wednesday night.

He was taken to Musgrave Serious Crime suite, where he remains in custody for further questioning.

Mr Conway – a father-of-two – had been facing charged in relation to the murder of Shane Whitla in Lurgan last January. He had been on bail in Belfast, having been barred from entering Lurgan.
