A Lurgan man is to appear in court today charged with a number of offences including the making and using of petrol bombs.
Police investigating disorder in Lurgan last month, when officers and the community came under attack from petrol bombs thrown in the Kilwilkie area, have charged a 25-year-old man to appear at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court sitting at Lisburn on Friday, September 18.
The man was arrested in the Lurgan area on Thursday and has been charged with riotous behaviour, use of petrol bombs and making petrol bombs.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
