A major housing development in county Armagh costing more than £5million has been granted planning permission.
The development, which will consist of 70 houses – 38 detached and 32 semi detached – will be built in the Silverwood area of Lurgan.
Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council gave the thumbs up to the project on Friday.
Gilmore Developments are responsible for the construction of the site south of Kiln Lodge in the town, in close proximity to Silverwood golf course and the ski centre.
There had been one rejection to the plans, which were submitted in March 2015.
The news comes just a few weeks after plans were granted for a brand new hotel complex costing in the region of £5million on the Lough Road in lurgan.
