Four teens arrested after street robbery leaves man in hospital

Injured man had his phone stolen

A man has been left in hospital following a street robbery in county Armagh in the early hours of this morning.

Four teenagers have been arrested in relation to the incident, which happened in Lurgan around 2.30am.

A police spokesperson said: “Four teenagers were arrested after a reported street robbery during which a phone was stolen.

“A male ended up in hospital due to his injuries.

“Whilst the phone was later recovered, we need to piece together what happened.

“Do you live in the area of the waste ground at Tandragee Road/Russell Drive? Or were you in the area last night between midnight at 230am?

“Did you see an altercation between a group of young lads?”
