A man has been arrested after police uncovered large quantities of drugs following a search of his county Armagh property this morning.
Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch in Lurgan arrested a 23-year-old and recovered a large quantity of illegal drugs.
Detectives recovered ecstasy with an estimated street value of £19,000 and a small quantity of suspected cannabis during the search of a property in the Victoria Street area of the town.
The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to import a controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug and possessing a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
He has since been released on bail pending further police enquiries.
This operation has removed a sizeable amount of illegal drugs and prevented potential harm to many people.
