A man accused of shoplifting three packs of Rennies, among other things, has been refused bail.
Along with the Rennies, the defendant is also alleged to have stolen two sound bars from Home Bargains on January 20 this year.
Ruslans Andrejeva (31), of North Street in Lurgan, appeared at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court via video link from prison.
Also on January 20 he is accused of stealing two jackets from an O’Neill’s shop and items worth £112 from Tesco.
The court was told he had previously been released from custody on January 14 this year.
A police officer objected to bail saying there was a “serious” risk of re-offending.
A defence barrister said the defendant was in a “revolving door” of prison.
Deputy District Judge Gerard Trainor refused bail and the case was adjourned to March 21.
