Little 11-year-old Co Armagh boy loses brave two-year battle with cancer

A young Co Armagh boy, who lost a brave two-year battle with cancer, will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

Little Jack Roycroft from Lurgan was just 11-years-old.

He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his parents Ian and Tracey, and sisters Lauren and Grace.

In a social media post, Angel Wishes, said: “It is with the heaviest heart Angel Wishes has lost one of our most inspirational young boys, Jack aged 11.

“Jack was one of our very first children when we started Angel Wishes and to say he was a fighter is an understatement.

“Jack had a smile, a personality and a genuine love for life, he will be missed beyond words by everyone who had the total pleasure of knowing him.

“Our thoughts and prayers go to Jacks entire family at this devastating time.

“Jack to know you was to love you xxxx. FLY HIGH WITH THE ANGELS.”

A funeral notice for little Jack said he will be laid to rest on Tuesday, following a 1.30pm Service in Church of The Nazarene, Mourne Road, Lurgan at 1.30pm, which will be followed by interment in Banbridge New Cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing parents, sisters, grandparents Maurice, Bertha, Jim and Yvonne and entire family circle.
