An elderly woman was taken to hospital following a road collision in Lurgan this morning (Wednesday).
It is understood a car collided with a pedestrian in the North Street area of the town.
Rapid response and emergency crews were on the scene shortly after the incident, which happened around 8.45am.
The road was closed for a period but has since re-opened.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “A woman aged in her 70s has been taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
“The driver of the car has been spoken to by police.
“North Street was closed for a short time but has since re-opened.”
There are no further details at this stage.
