A Lurgan school for children with additional needs is mourning the loss of one of their pupils, whose beautiful “big smile” brightened up the classroom.
Young Phoebe Krasnodebska sadly passed away on Tuesday, May 12 in the loving arms of her parents and brother in the Blossom Children’s Ward, Craigavon.
She was the beloved daughter of Justyna and Rafal and sister of Ryan.
Phoebe radiated light. She had an incredible, fun-loving character with a wicked sense of humour that captured the attention of all she met.
She was hugely popular at Ceara school among both teachers and fellow pupils and as such she will be greatly missed by the entire school community.
Paying tribute, the school said they were “deeply saddened” by her loss.
A teacher, Mrs McCluskey, said of the impression Phoebe made on her life: “Our wee Pheebs. What a pleasure it was to be your teacher. I’ll never forget your big smile…especially when someone was up to no good. Sending all my love and thoughts to Mum, Dad and Big Brother.”
Another added: “The little lady who melted my heart every single day of caring for her. Loved the chat, the gossip and my terrible rendition of ‘you are my sunshine ‘ you will be missed so much. Sending all my love, thoughts and prayers to her amazing mummy, daddy and big brother.”
“A beautiful girl with the most incredible smile that brought joy to everyone around her,” said another. “Staff at Ceara School are heartbroken by her loss. Phoebe will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and care for her. Heartfelt sympathies to her loving parents, big brother, and all who loved her.”
Phoebe will also be greatly missed by the staff at Blossom Children’s Ward and The Community Nursing Team, Lurgan who so lovingly cared for her throughout her life.
Funeral details will be announced at a later date. Donations, if desired, are being gratefully received for N.I Children’s Hospice c/o Alan Wray & Co. Funeral Directors.
The family wish to offer their sincerest thanks for the love and care Phoebe received from all the staff of Blossom Children’s ward, The Community Nursing Team, Lurgan, Ceara school and all those who contributed to her care.
